Project WIRTGEN SP 500 - New Tech, Uzbekistan

In 2023, ALTCON Equipment collaborated with our trusted customer, New Tech Samarkand, on an impressive project to renovate a used WIRTGEN SP 500 SLIPFORM PAVER, the first of its kind for this customer.

We adapted this impressive machine to our customer's needs and equipped it with a custom-built screed, capable of paving up to 6.5 wide concrete in one run. We additionally equipped this screed with hydraulic vibrators and augers with variable rotation speed to ensure smooth evenly and spread concrete over its entire width.

DELIVERY & SETUP
NEW TECH SAMARKAND, UZBEKISTAN

In September 2023, ALTCON Equipment's team, including our CEO Rafael and engineers Martin and Robert, visited Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Our mission was to provide support for New Tech Samarkand with their new SP 500 setup. Our hands-on approach ensured perfect technical operations and a series of successful test runs, resulting in several well-executed concrete runways at the New Tech site.

Next up are a series of projects in the Samarkand area, including a 5 kilometer long concrete road at a varying width of 4.5 to 6.5 meters and 25 centimeters in height.
